30-Day Return Policy:
Every item sold comes with a 30-day return policy from the date of shipment unless otherwise noted. In order to return an item, please fill out the Return Authorization Form to obtain a Return Authorization Number and arrange for return shipping by an approved shipping company.

NOTE: All returns must be shipped by an approved shipping company and accompanied by a Return Authorization Form and Return Authorization Number.

If you are not pleased with your order, TheDoorCompany.com will gladly accept the return of your item under the following conditions:

  • The customer pays for the original and return shipping costs.
  • The item is returned in the original packaging.
  • The item has not been damaged after shipment.
  • The original packing slip along with a Return Authorization Number are included with the return.
  • The products are returned using an approved shipping company.

A twenty five percent (25%) restocking charge will be applied to returns made for the following reasons:

  • Customer does not like the color or style of the door, or the size is incompatible with the intended location.
  • Merchandise was not delivered in a timely basis through no fault of TheDoorCompany.com.
  • The item is returned without a Return Authorization Number, the customer refuses shipment or is unavailable for delivery.

Upon receipt of the returned item, TheDoorCompany.com will credit the original purchaser's credit card for the original purchase price less original shipping and handling charges and any restocking charges. The 30-day return policy becomes void if any condition above is not met.

Damaged Returns:
If any item arrives damaged, TheDoorCompany.com will reimburse the customer for the return shipping cost (if needed) and replace the item at no cost if the following conditions are met:

  • The customer and carrier have identified damage when signing for receipt.
  • The customer notifies TheDoorCompany.com of damage within 48 hours of receipt using our Return Authorization Form.

If it is determined that the damaged product should be returned, TheDoorCompany.com will provide you with a Return Authorization Number and help you arrange for return shipping with an approved shipping company. Upon receipt of the returned item TheDoorCompany.com will ship a replacement product.

If it is determined that the damaged product does not need to be returned, TheDoorCompany.com will ship a replacement item at no cost to the original purchaser if all of the above conditions are met.

PLEASE NOTE: Your shipment from TheDoorCompany.com is equipped with a Tiltwatch® monitoring system to insure its safe arrival. Upon receipt and BEFORE YOU SIGN for the shipment, you and the carrier should carefully inspect the Tiltwatch® label as well as the shipping container packaging. Note the readings on the carrier's delivery receipt and on your copy and jointly endorse both copies.

If the Tiltwatch® indicator is red:

  1. DO NOT REFUSE the shipment.
  2. Jointly note and endorse the readings on both the carrier's delivery receipt and your copy.
  3. If damage is discovered, leave in original container and packaging, and request immediate inspection from the carrier within 15 days of delivery. (International, 3 days).

Warranty Returns:
Immediately upon discovering that a door is defective or fails to conform to the manufacturer's written Warranties, the purchaser shall send notice by using our Warranty Claim Form.

Claims should detail the date of purchase, description of the product, specific definition of problem or defect, and your name, address and telephone number. TheDoorCompany.com reserves the right and must be given at least a thirty (30) day opportunity to have any door which is the subject of a warranty claim field inspected by a representative of TheDoorCompany.com.

This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of products or to the original purchaser of the structure into which such products are installed.
